Iran before the 1979 revolution

This is a picture of students at the University of Tehran in ca. 1970. I know this is a pretty popular photo used to illustrate how things may have turned out had the revolution not occurred, but I think more people need to see this to understand that things in the middle east weren't always as it is now. I am not overly familiar with the whole situation surrounding the Iranian revolution (WAAYYYYY before my time),however, I would like to know more. If anyone has any good books are articles on the subject please post them here! I will also keep an eye out for any good sources on the subject.
